What a fantastic romantic escape! The location was just perfect—everything we wanted was within strolling distance, from cozy restaurants to beautiful parks. Our room was spacious and comfy, and having a fitness area and a lovely barbecue spot to chill made our stay even better. We loved being able to relax on the balcony too!
That the bathroom felt a little dated and could use some extra warmth.

Location: the hotel was right by attractions & shops, and centre of Bendigo. I was surprised at nearby Cold Rock, they had some goodies, drinks. The breakfast was delicious and great, with a huge variety of food.
Well, Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

My room was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, creating a lovely atmosphere the moment I walked in. The location couldn't be better, as I was able to stroll to nearby cafes and restaurants with ease. Breakfast was a good treat, making the experience even more enjoyable.
All good, but a bit of road noise 🤔.

Overall it was an enjoyable stay for Bendigo Museum visit. The room was beautifully decorated, on electric blanket for returning after meal. We were in a magnificent location just a short stroll away from Bendigo Art Gallery.
Didn't like the area, it was really loud.

The room was cozy and featured a warmly effective electric blanket, perfect for returning to after a meal. This thoughtful addition added a nice touch to my overall comfort.
I did encounter a minor downside; the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly, with some rubbish lingering under the bed.

A Welcoming Stay at Barclay On View
From the moment I booked my stay over the phone, I felt welcomed—my inquiries were met with friendly assistance, ensuring that I received the best price available. Upon arriving, the warm greeting reinforced the home-like atmosphere we appreciated, especially being from regional Victoria. The room may have been cozy, but it was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for my short stay. The hotel’s location was perfect, conveniently close to my business meetings and local attractions.
Parking was a bit tight.

We had a fantastic stay at the barclay. the location was ideal, allowing us to walk to many attractions nearby. our room was clean, cosy, and equipped with a well-stocked minibar. we really appreciated the friendly staff, who were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. the hot shower that maintained temperature was a nice touch, and the designated parking made it convenient for us to explore the area after checking out.
None 😊.

Handy location for the sporting venue. Central for other attractions in Bendigo.Private parking facilities,
Room very small. Uncomfortable for watching tv. Used own pillows. I would certainly not describe this facility as a hotel - it is a mmotel. Far too expensive - this price is more appropriate to 5* properties. Had to book a triple room since the motel does not have twin bedded rooms- so paying for a bed space we did not need

I walked into a room that reeked of something foul, like a plumbing nightmare. The musty smell hit me right away. It felt old and worn, nowhere near the photos I saw, which was such a letdown.

For its' price, you wouldn't expect a spa or sauna. The room is well designed relative to other motels and you get free dvds.
The gym shouldn't be considered a gym, but you wouldn't expect one for a motor Inn either. :)
